I stand with you again on
the platform at
Gesundbrunnen station
bright hive
amidst grey factories, the naked
fingers of winter trees, cold
labyrinth of rail
pigeons
in stern huddles
beneath metal eaves
and I, wrapped somnolent in
your coffee-scented arm, turn to
watch an unremarkable
4 o’clock moon
a not-quite half moon as
ashen cloud murmurs across...
